COST ANALYSIS: HOW MUCH DO ALL-TERRAIN TIRES COST

With so many brands and prices, you can easily get confused while choosing your required all-terrain tires. Like all other shopping, focus on the requirement while doing smallest all-terrain tires.

Above 200$: You need to go above 200$ to get the best all-terrain tires. As you spend more bucks, usually the tread life of these tires will be lengthy and the tread will be extremely resistant to damage.

You may get some extra features such as a stone ejector or a protector for the rim. The sidewall of the tire will be firm. One disadvantage of these fancy and luxurious tire is: they appear a little bit harsh for the on-road.

Under 200$: You will be glad to know that the majority of all-terrain tires perform somewhat good in all conditions regardless of their cost. The more you spend, generally the more you will get comfortable and long-lasting all-terrains. As for the cheaper ones, the tread life will be shorter. Sometimes the low-cost ones cause too much vibration.

The above price estimation is pretty much workable for all-terrain tires. Below I will give a short description of some good quality tires. Hope this will be beneficial for selecting your required ones.

BF-Goodrich All-Terrain T/A:

A macho tire. This one is well known for its magnificent traction on both on-road and off-road, performs nicely in the snow and rain. It is resilient to cuts and punctures. However, it has some downsides. After passing 20 thousand miles, experiencing the wear, it begins to lose its wet traction capability. BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A has a treadwear warranty of 50 thousand miles. In addition to that, it is not that fuel-efficient.

Hankook Dynapro AT-M:

With its rough outlook, Hankook Dynapro AT-M grasps any ground superbly. The price is comparatively less. Suitable for dragging massive loads. The downside includes less wet traction capability, noise & shaking.

Michelin LTX A/T2:

It has a quite soft but gorgeous appearance. Michelin LTX A/T2 is specialized for fuel-efficiency and comfort. It prevents road-noise & shaking. As it is made out of a soft rubber-like compound, the sidewall is somewhat vulnerable and it lacks performance in heavy snow.

Falken Wildpeak A/T3W:

Falken Wildpeak A/T3W is specialized for super wintry weather and works better while driving off-road than on-road. It is quite cheaper. It can be found at 89$ and has a heavy outlook. As for the downsides, it is heavy in terms of weight which increases the total weight of the vehicle, fuel efficiency is less.

Goodyear Wrangler Radial Tire – 235/75R15

This is suitable for light trucks. It is good for both on-road and off-road and all seasons. A number of sizes are available for this tire. Due to its tread block design, the appearance of this tire is aggressive.

The big and consistent design of the tread is familiar for the wet road. One disadvantage of the tire is, it is harsh. Another issue is, it makes noise and attracts debris due to its big tread blocks.

Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015

Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 is a cheap but smart tire, the price is around 87$ per tire. It grasps the surfaces nicely. It offers a warranty of 60 thousand miles.

Kumho Road Venture A/T 51

Kumho Road Venture A/T 51 offers a warranty of 60 thousand miles. It is better than the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015 for winter conditions. The price of a tire is around 100$.

All these prices are for car tires, the price for all-terrain ATV tires will be a bit more than the mentioned prices below.

If the budget is around 100$, then I suggest you spend some time for research and select a low-cost but smart one.
