The Cars of the Most Famous Casino and Poker Players

Professional poker and casino players have connotations of style, elegance, mystery and wealth. They win games that seem impossible to beat to the ordinary eye, taking chances and bets most of us would never dare. Poker players are especially inscrutable, retaining that air of knowledge that ordinary men and women could never dream of possessing. They are risk-takers, and when it pays off, it feels like a win for all gamblers.

With these big wins also comes big spending on houses, lifestyles and of course, cars.

What kind of cars do professional casino and poker players drive? Let’s have a look.

Patrik Antonius

Patrik Antonius, a Finnish model and former professional tennis player, is regarded as one of the best fifty poker players ever. He has won a total of  £12 million from live poker events alone.

In October 2005, he won the main event of the European Poker Tour, which was one of his most significant victories. Antonius moved from Helsinki to Monte Carlo and is a member of the poker group ‘The Circle of Outlaws.’

In the poker world, he’s known as ‘the Terminator.’

This title, as well as his achievement in the game, led to the acquisition of an Aston Martin Vanquish, a British brand of automobile. The vehicle is estimated to be worth approximately £200,000. These automobiles have a top speed of 183 mph and were mostly built between 2001 and 2007 by hand. It was also featured in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day, starring Pierce Brosnan.

Dan Bilzerian

Bilzerian is well-known for flaunting his opulent lifestyle on social networking sites. He has dubbed himself the “King of Instagram,” and he has a fairly incredible collection of vehicles to go along with it. With a net worth of over €150 million, it’s easy to understand how he can afford all of these extravagant possessions.

Here are just a few of his stunning automobiles.

  • 1965 AC Shelby Cobra 427 – this may be a vintage find, but it comes at a high price. It’s claimed that he spent upwards of €1.8 million on this one. It’s a throwback that is truly stunning, and he proudly displays it when he goes to events and at racetracks.
  • Bentley Continental GT – only a mere €190,000.
  • The Polaris RZR 900 is the most affordable of the lot, costing only €16,500. However, the ride is disguised and military-style, evoking Bilzerian’s Navy SEAL training.
  • Lamborghini Aventador (about €400,000).
  • 1970 Toyota Land Cruiser – €49,000 gets the poker star this classic.  He uses it for beach days with bikini-clad beauties in the back.
  • Brabus 6X6 AMG G63 – Just €100,000 short of a million euros.

Vanessa Ashley Rousso

Playing poker from five years of age certainly has helped Vanessa as an adult – she has netted over £3,500,000 from the game. Although she has yet to win any big competitions, she has earned herself the moniker of ‘Lady Maverick’ in poker circles.

She also has a taste for the rare, owning a Lamborghini Gallardo, of which only 5000 have been manufactured worldwide. It costs £189,000.  She also has a top-tier luxury car built in Britain – the Bentley Continental GT. It goes for the poker-faced price of £210.000, has a speed limit of 208mph, and was made for Volkswagen from 2003 to 2011.

Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu of Canada, arguably the best poker player to date, has amassed a fortune of roughly £44 million, making him one of the wealthiest poker players in the world. He is a two-time World Poker Tour Main Event winner, as well as a six-time World Series of Poker bracelet winner.

Negreanu maintained the top place in the poker global rankings for nineteen weeks. Without him, no ranking of the top poker players would legitimately count.

For the price of $100,000, Negreanu purchased a Tesla Model S. This vehicle is also an environmentally friendly vehicle that runs on electricity rather than gasoline, making it a sound investment. Despite being driven by a battery, the Tesla Model S from the United States can achieve speeds of roughly 155 miles per hour.

Fancy yourself a poker player that could compete in tournaments and potentially win millions? (or at least make a profit off of your bankroll).

Why not try your luck at a reputable, trustworthy and fair online site like DraftKings Casino? You may never be able to purchase a rare car from your winnings, but at least you will have fun. And you may even catch some of these pros at a live Poker event!
