Since its founding, Lamborghini has managed to surpass several financial problems including a period of bankruptcy because of their enduring reputation for excellence. Lamborghini manufacture cars that have very powerful engines and they also make it a point that it looks stunningly beautiful and elegant. The company labels all of their cars with an iconic bold bull logo that surely catches everyone’s attention. Lamborghini’s emblem helps them to call attention to their cars. You can see it on their car’s steering wheels, tire rims, and car hoods. In this article, we are going to know more about the Lamborghini emblem and how it came to be.

History

Lamborghini’s founder, Ferruccio Lamborghini has several ties to bulls. He was born on April 28 which makes his Zodiac symbol Taurus. He also named the first Lamborghini, the Miura, which is a famous Spanish bullfighter. He said that the aggressive power and sleek designs of his cars were accurately represented by the Spanish fighting bulls. The color and shape of Lamborghini’s emblem are somewhat similar to the black and yellow Ferrari horse logo because Lamborghini and Ferrari were Italian sports car manufacturers and Ferruccio wanted a similar emblem to his rival’s famous horse logo. That’s why he decided for the bull emblem that was a much simpler but aggressive version of the Ferrari emblem since his cars were definitely simpler and stronger than Ferrari’s.

The Design of the Emblem

Lamborghini had the same logo since it was founded. It featured a black shield shape with a gold outline that curves across the top and meets in a point at the bottom. The same color appears in the company’s name that is written across the top of the emblem. The interior of the logo has a deep black color that really makes the gold color stand out. On the other hand, you can see some light highlighting along the black parts of the emblem which gives it a three-dimensional appearance. And of course, there is the realistic, golden image of a charging bull that takes up most of the emblem’s space.

Most of Lamborghini’s emblem are black and gold because black symbolizes a sense of quality and elegance, and gold represents luxury and money. These two color combination makes the Lamborghini cars look more powerful and like a status symbol. The Lamborghini logo sported a few color changes on concept cars and some of them had the emblem in silver and black which gives the logo the same sleek and elegant design as the black and gold one.

The emblem of Lamborghini exactly symbolizes the company’s devotion to strength and power. Lamborghini takes pride in manufacturing cars that can withstand powerful forces and just like a charging bull, the company combines agility, speed, and strength in every one of their cars. And the iconic Lamborghini logo is the perfect representation of their products and reputation.
